Fleeing war and persecution in late 70's communist Vietnam, a community of boat people arrived in Palacios - a small town on the gulf coast of Texas, USA - and turned to shrimping to build a new life. Now that way of life, and their continued livelihood, is under threat from a World market flooded with cheap "farmed" shrimp raised and imported by their cousins back home.
